DESCRIPTION:Mit der Eröffnung der Praxisgemeinschaft im März 2019 sind die Renovierungs- und Umbauarbeiten abgeschlossen: Wir starten mit einem Fest\, mit welchem wir die Einzigartigkeit und das Leben feiern möchten! \n  \nFür die musikalische Untermalung des Events konnten wir den großartigen Weltmusiker Harri Stojka gewinnen! Johann Groebner\, Austro-Kanadier und Schöpfer fantastischer Ölbilder\, ist der erste Künstler\, der in unseren Räumlichkeiten seine Werke präsentiert. \n  \nStargast: Lilian Klebow \n  \nWir laden Sie herzlich zu dieser Veranstaltung ein! \n  \n\nKünstler: Johann Groebner\n…wurde 1968 in Toronto als Sohn österreichischer Eltern geboren und lebte hauptsächlich in Vancouver\, Kanada\, bevor er nach Wien gezogen ist. Er ist Absolvent der Emily Carr Universität für Kunst und Design. \nMy painting engages with multiple themes based on photos I take or from images collected from the news or history.   I see my practice as a  documentary or archival process while continuing to acknowledge painting in it’s historical context and the aesthetic inherent within the medium.  Painting allows for critical interpretation of an event that can no longer exist in empirical or phenomenological truth.   The painted reference is a stand-in for the real. Representation for me is an allegorical function. \nÜbersetzung: Diese Serie von Gemälden basiert auf Fotos\, die ich bei meinen Erkundungen in den Bergen und Wäldern in und um Vancouver\, Kanada gemacht habe.  Obwohl basierend auf Fotos\, ist es eher mein Ziel\, den Betrachter meine Erfahrung näher zu bringen als einer fotorealistischen Darstellung des Ortes.
